White River MWD – Fencing Improvements

Project Description

PROJECT INCLUDES:         This project includes the layout and construction of approximately 18,000 LF of 5 strand barbed wire fencing with associated gates, and bracing. This fence will enclose the recently constructed OHV trail area. The District has cleared the fence right of way. It is a requirement to visit the site in order to submit a proposal.

Mandatory Site Visit Required: Proposers must visit the site to be considered eligible to submit a proposal. Site visits can be coordinated through Shane Jones, WRMWD General Manager at 806-263-4240.

ESTIMATED COST:                $50,000

BID BOND:                            5%

PERFORMANCE / PAYMENT BOND: 100%

FUNDING AGENCY:               This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department through the Recreational Trails (RTP) Grant program.

SELECTION CRITERIA:           Proposals will be evaluated based upon the information submitted. The following criteria will be the primary considerations for selecting a proposal:

1. Project understanding, approach, and schedule: 25 Points
2. Experience and availability of project team: 20 Points
3. Experience on similar projects, including past record of performance: 20 Points
4. Overall quality and responsiveness of proposal: 10 Points
5. Price: 25 Points
