Steamboat Mountain WSC – U.S. 83/84 TxDOT Water Line Relocate

Project Description

PROJECT INCLUDES:         Replacement of approximately 24,500 linear feet of 14" through 2" waterline in the Owner's existing distribution system.

ESTIMATED COST:             $3,800,000

BID BOND:                           5%

PERFORMANCE/PAYMENT BONDS:      100%

FUNDING AGENCY:           Local / TxDOT

Questions will be automatically directed to and reviewed by the project manager. All project specific questions posted here will be answered via addendum and distributed to all plan holders. Addenda will also be posted to the website and may be accessed by clicking the red “Addendums” button.

Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS must be ordered online at www.jacobmartin.com. Orders for CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may include hard copies for pick up, mail out or digital download via www.jacobmartin.com.  Upon verification of online payment, hard copies may be picked up at Jacob & Martin, LLC., located at 3465 Curry Lane, Abilene, TX 79606.  Cost for hard copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be $100.00.  Cost for digital download of CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be $0.00.  Contractors must purchase a set of CONTRACT DOCUMENTS to be considered a registered plan holder eligible to bid the project.

The products listed in contractor signed letter (sample in Appendix B of the bid set), provided by contractor, are fabricated from steel or iron that is melted and manufactured, and any coating applied, in the United States and meet the requirements of Buy America 23 CFR 635.410.

The Steamboat Mountain WSC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Steamboat Mountain WSC for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award.
