There will be a non-mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference at 10:00 AM on August 7, 2025, at Big Spring City Hall, 310 Nolan St., Big Spring, TX 79720.

The deadline to submit questions to the Architect is August 12, 2025. All questions shall be submitted electronically to Jacob & Martin, LLC, Attn: Mark Roberson, AIA; mroberson@jacobmartin.com.

PROJECT INCLUDES:         Renovation of existing 3,108 SF golf shop building, on the former Webb AFB campus, into a new exercise facility for Big Spring emergency personnel.

ESTIMATED COST:             $560,000

PAYMENT/PERFORMANCE BONDS: 100%

BID BOND:                           5%

Rowland McCrory Construction Gus Rowland 1. Please confirm per the pre bid walkthrough that PEX A will be acceptable for domestic supply. 2. Due to the existing condition at the intended 7' opening between rooms 100 and 101, it may not be feasible to widen the doorway without removing the CMU above. If that is the case, would it be acceptable to create a sheetrock header between the CMU jambs and delete the metal reinforcing?
