PROJECT ENGINEER – LAND DEVELOPMENT
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our established Land Development team.
As a Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Land Development projects including commercial, educational, industrial, recreational, and residential from planning and conceptual phases through construction and completion.

Education/License:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- Texas registered PE, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee civil engineering design for commercial and residential land development projects, including site geometry & layout, grading, drainage, roadway, water distribution, wastewater collection, parks, and other civil improvements
- Prepare and oversee development of design drawings, technical specifications, reports, cost estimates, and other project deliverables
- Analyze technical information, perform engineering calculations, and advance design concepts into effective and financially feasible engineering designs
- Author technical reports such as due diligence reports, feasibility reports, design reports, and technical memoranda
- Provide technical support and project inspection throughout all project stages, from request for proposal through final design and construction.
- Serve as Engineer of Record for various projects and/or project tasks
- Prepare and participate in client meetings and presentations
- Provide leadership and guidance for engineers-in-training, engineering interns, and designers
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Professional Experience preferred
- Client Management experience or strong interpersonal skills and desire to develop in client management
- Strong communication skills for internal and external communication & coordination
Software Proficiencies:
AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Blue Beam, InfoWater, Microsoft Office
