History

JACOB | MARTIN, formerly Yeatts & Decker, Inc., was founded in 1948 in Abilene, Texas. Our firm offers a wide range of engineering, architectural and professional services to meet the needs of public and private organizations. We started out as a civil design and surveying company focused primarily on public infrastructure projects.

Over the years, we have expanded our services to include architectural design, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and environmental engineering. We have a materials testing lab and offer a number of other professional services designed to complement our core offerings. Although we have expanded our offerings over the years, we’re still serving many communities that started with us seventy-five years ago.

Many things have changed in the past seventy-five years, but our core values remain the same. We aim for INTEGRITY with every calculation, conversation and representation. We strive for EXCELLENCE in everything we do. Your TRUST is the standard by which we evaluate our success.
